When will people stop telling us what we already know?

Working for a Christian mission agency I am very aware that the world has changed as a result of Covid-19 and that things for mission agencies may never be the same again. But yet it still seems that 'those in the know' seem to think they need to tell us this on a regular bases as if it is something profound that we are unaware of. Perhaps more frustratingly still having done so they rarely if ever offer any substantial answers to the question of how agencies should actually respond beyond vague big picture ideas, when what we really need is a careful look at the new reality that is unfolding before us and some practical and down to earth suggestions as to how we navigate it.
